In the wise words of Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez, “We don’t talk anymore, like we used to.” Some couples get their fairy-tale endings while some end like Romeo and Rosaline. Well, kudos to those celebrity couples that have lasted in the eyes of the media.

We all know the hatred and criticism one couple gets. And now, with Valentine’s Day passing by, we reminisce the good old days when these singles were once famous couples. No matter how long you’ve been together, the media always catches up and it takes a toll on what was left of a relationship.

The stories and escapades of the couples’ journey together are always interesting. Who are we kidding? We loved catching up to juicy gossip on ‘who did what’ this holiday and ‘where they went to holiday’. But when it comes to break-up stories, the internet turns wild. What once was a very private end of a relationship, it turns into a messy warzone. They always take the internet by storm. Here are a few recent break-ups that blew our minds and the newspaper headlines away.

Khloe Kardashian and James Harden

Everyone is familiar with the Kardashians. Even if you aren’t interested, you always end up knowing the crazy stunts of the Kardashians. Be it Kylie Jenner’s lips or Kim Kardashians ass, the world knows everything which shouldn’t be a surprise when news of Khloe Kardashian and James Harden separation news hit the internet, right? Time decided to ruin this relationship too, since Harden is a NBA player and Khloe, of course, is running her own company with her sisters.

One of the reasons for this couple to hit rock bottom was Khloe’s major failure in helping her husband recover. There is only so much you can do when you’ve got the whole world tuning into your lives.

 Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor

Ironically, the first one on our list never confirmed their relationship. The rumors that made us speculate this curious relationship that began with the end of Ranbir and Deepika, made it the limelight of the media. All rumors cleared the air after pictures were taken of the couple in Ibiza. They managed to keep most of their relationship under wraps, except for a few hitches here and there.

Six years later, living together and a rumored marriage on the way, the couple indirectly announces their separation. Good move, but the media pulls a smarter trick and dug deep till it was official. Reasons are still unknown, but it was good till it lasted I guess. Well, we now know if you keep your relationship out in the open or not, it still might get rocky. We are human at the end of the day.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli

Now this is the couple that bought bollywood in a mess. They left the audience wondering if they were or weren’t dating, especially during the film PK. Then everything came out in the open when Virat sent a flying kiss during his cricket match. Prior to that, they weren’t shy in keeping their relationship under wraps.

We got updates about their dinner dates and trips. But the pressures of being the girlfriend of a famous cricketer took a toll when they blamed Anushka for India’s loss in a match. This is pretty barmy to think about, but cheers to her for sticking through this rough patch. But sadly this bond also came to a tragic ending. But there are rumors running around that Virat’S been loving his single life.

Dancing with people during his Angad Bedi’s bachelor party is a way to describe it, maybe?  Well, I think the days where we were rooting for them are over.  There’s a saying that goes this way, “If it’s meant to be, it will be.” Guess we’ll have to wait and watch.

This rock-on couple decided to get married in 2000 after a courtship of 3 years. They made quite a pair as Adhuna was six years older to Farhan! But age is just a number, isn’t it? We know how strenuous and how hectic a singer, actor, director, writer cum producer’s life can be.

Sadly, this relationship also fell prey into the hands of time.  But nothing can be more romantic than writing songs about your beloved and being an inspiration to your other half. But they also deserve an applause for standing up and demanding privacy from the media which is pretty hard because they get paid to do that (ahem ahem). But it always isn’t bright at the end of the tunnel, is it?

Later, the Orange Is the New Black star called of the engagement to Phoebe Dahl in December of 2015. Well, it was great till it lasted right?

The golden couples that were married for 10 years announced their divorce just a day after their anniversary. Reasons for split isn’t known to the public but rumors say there is a certain nanny is in the question. The couple decided to stay together after their divorce for their children violet, Seraphina and Samuel. They asked for privacy during this time, especially for their kids. They are going to co-parent their kids with love and friendship with commitment to it. Let’s wish them all good luck!
